water drips through stone
Hey all. So for english class in school we had to pick a poet, and I (obviously) chose Andrea. We also had to pick a few poems by our poet, and one that I picked was Water Drips Through Stone. I needed the words, but couldn't find them online. So I transcribed them, and I figured I'd share them with you guys!
So I got really excited because Andrea Gibson is coming to my city on a Saturday in May. I was all set to buy tickets and have my ears set on wordfire like weapons of mass instruction detonating in a room full of snapping people and one brave mic... and then I realised it's a 21-and-over venue, and therefore I won't be allowed in the doors for another couple of years. Unless I acquire a fake ID. Which is unlikely.
. It should be a crime to restrict poetry to listeners who happen to have witnessed twenty-one full orbits of this big ball of mud.
Will anyone else have the privilege of seeing Andrea live during her current tour? Who has seen her spit before, where, how was it?
Hey guys. As you probably know, only some lyrics of Andrea's are posted on her site. Does anyone know other places that have her poems posted? Thanks!
